Parking facilities in Mt. Lebanon are constructed and managed by the Mt. Lebanon Parking Authority, an independent body established under the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Act in 1954. The Authority receives no municipal tax revenues, and finances all of its construction and maintenance projects solely from revenues generated by on-street and surface lot meters, garages, and permits.
